Hello from the East Coast.

Hey Roane Domers! Well in the spirit of not letting a blog page just sit untouched I thought I would add something.

Being married to a West Virginian and living relatively close to the state, I have had the chance to travel throughout its hillsides over the past two years. I recently found out that West Virginia is the only state in the U.S. that is entirely encompassed in a mountain range. Whether you are driving the nice empty freeways or trying to stay on the narrow and windy local roads the views are often limited to trees and road around you. But here and there you get the chance to see the blanket of green covering the hills around you. This is what makes the area displayed behind Jen and I so unique. It is called Seneca Rocks. It is a knife of rocks jutting out of the mountain. It is a popular place to camp and attracts a lot of rock climbers. I had the chance to hike it and would highly recommend it. There was a swimming hole not too far from where this picture was taken. My in-laws and I had a good ole time playing around.

On a different note I hope this blog will continue to grow with everybody adding to it here and there and creating their own blogs! -Tony
